Review: DIY Organic Beauty Recipes ebook
2012
You guys! I’m so excited to tell you about this book! Heather, the Mommypotamus, has done it again. This book is BEAUTIFUL. But even more important, it’s full of really good stuff.
DIY Organic Beauty Recipes
If you’ve been around these parts for a while, then it’s probably safe to say that you have some DIY tendencies. I mean, you know I love experimenting with all things homemade. But this book takes it to a whole new level.
- Want to learn how to make your own shampoo, conditioner, and lotions that really work?
- Want to whiten your teeth naturally? Nourish yourself from the inside out for radiant skin and hair?
- Want to know the exact shelf life of your homemade concoctions and which ones are safe for your children?
Look no further. I have found the gem for you!
This book has over 50 recipes that have been tried and tested by Heather. In other words: They really work.
There are also some sweet video tutorials to help you get the products right. And if you are looking for some great homemade holiday gifts, then you have found the jackpot of recipes… many of which can be made for less than $5!
I just got my own copy about two weeks ago and dove right in. You’ve got to check this book out.
Psssst… one more thing:

This looks like an amazing book. I have been trying to eliminate toxins in our home and beauty products play a huge part in that. It’s amazing the kind of junk that is in commercial cosmetics!
I hear you. It’s been a gradual process of the past three years, but we finally have almost every commercial product out of our home… and I love it. So does my husband!
This was a real waste of money. I have purchased several much more indepth, well written and more authoitative books for much less money, and they were regular paper books! I had high hopes for this book for fresh new ideas. Do yourself a favor and do more research to find another book for “recipies” (what it is named when downloaded-by the way it is “recipes”).
I’m sorry, Catherine. I have really loved the recipes. If you have any issues with the book, I’d talk to Heather, I’m sure she’d be happy to respond.
Is this book available as an actual BOOK anywhere? I don’t do “e-books”….
I’d contact Heather and ask her at mommypotamus.com I’m not sure.
